Professor Andreas H. Jacobs

Professor of Target Biology & Chemistry

Obtained MD (1990) at the University of Bonn. Extensive experience in neuro-oncology, neuro-inflammation and -degeneration, gene therapy and multi-model molecular imaging, as well as in supporting and guiding design/execution of preclinical and clinical multi-modal molecular imaging studies. Trained and supervised 7 MD students, 8 master students, 4 PhD, 4 MD/PhD students and post-docs (22) of various disciplines (physics, chemistry, pharmacy, biology and neurology). Published over 100 original articles, 34 reviews and 24 book chapters and participated in different EU projects related to molecular imaging, of which he coordinated 2 (DIMI, INMiND).
