Principal Investigator at CIC biomaGUNE

Expertise in molecular imaging, including PET/CT, inorganic medicinal chemistry, supramolecular, bioorganic and bioinorganic chemistry, synthetic nanotechnology, nanomedicine. Corresponding author of over 40 publications, trained 7 PhD students and 8 postdocs, leads an interdisciplinary group of 10 researchers (7 PhD students) focused on the development/screening of multifunctional nanoparticles for medical applications.

Head of Radiochemistry at the Molecular Imaging Unit of CIC with extensive experience in radiochemistry, nanotechnology, molecular imaging, design/execution of preclinical studies. Published over 50 articles, trained 2 PhD students. Currently leads 9 researchers (5 PhD students) and is involved in different European projects related to radiolabelling and in vivo investigation of NPs and is participating in the RADIOMI ITN7 project.
